Ramon Garza State Preschool is a part of the Bakersfield City School District’s(BCSD) California State Preschool Program (CSPP). The Bakersfield City School District’s CSPP program provides early educational opportunities in 24 part-day part-year licensed classes at 12 BCSD elementary sites for 576 children and their families. BCSD CSPP staff encourage and support children’s participation by identifying and providing developmentally age-appropriate activities, materials, and teaching strategies through a variety of learning modalities. Daily activities address the social emotional,self regulatory, early literacy, cognitive, and physical needs of all children in a caring, secure, and safe environment. Our team is committed to building a quality foundation that will guide our youngest learners toward success in kindergarten and beyond.
