The Lamont Elementary School District operates the Alicante Pre-Kindergarten Program in order to support students and families in Lamont being prepared for successful school entry. We support children in their growth in all developmental domains with the goals that children are personally and socially competent, effective learners, show physical and motor competence, are safe and healthy , and are supported by their family. We provide a variety of support services and education for families as well, helping families set and achieve their goals so that at school entry the entire family is prepared to support their child through kindergarten and on to college or career.
